Hey, I’m Shaeleen. Welcome in.
I have two great loves: the piano and creating beautiful nail sets that make people smile. They have more in common than you might think. Both take patience, a steady hand and a real eye for detail, and both are at their best when they feel effortless to the person enjoying them.
I started doing nails for friends and family, and it quickly became the part of the week everyone looked forward to: good conversation, a cup of tea and leaving with hands you can’t stop looking at. Shaeleen Studios grew from that feeling. It is a small, calm space in Edenvale where you get my full attention from the moment you sit down.
Whether you want a clean, glossy gel overlay for the office, a sculpted acrylic set for a wedding, or a bit of hand-painted art you found on Pinterest, I’ll talk it through with you, look after the health of your natural nails, and take the time to get the shape just right. And if you’ve always wanted to learn piano, I teach that here too, at your pace and with plenty of encouragement.

How long does a gel overlay last?
A gel overlay on natural nails usually lasts two to three weeks before it needs a fill or a fresh set. Rubber base adds strength if your nails tend to bend or chip.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. The studio works by appointment so every client gets unhurried, one-on-one time. Pick any open slot below and you’ll get a confirmation.
Can I bring my own nail art inspiration?
Please do. Add a note or a reference link when you book and Shaeleen will plan the design and timing ahead of your visit.
What if I need to reschedule?
Send a message at least 24 hours before your appointment and we’ll move you to another open slot.
Where is the studio?
At 50 Aileen Road, Illiondale, Edenvale, a short drive from Bedfordview, Greenstone and Modderfontein. There is easy parking on the street.
